Back to my Roots

21st September 2010
Well, can't beleive how busy I am at the moment. This has lead to a slip in the time I've had to post new information on the website. I do, however, try to post snippets of information on twitter so why not follow me and witness the day to day trials of a wildlife photographer. So, on with the latest news before I head back out into the undergrowth!

I am pleased to announce that some of my images are now available to buy from Alberts Garden centre in Ravenshead, Nottinghamshire. Not only is Ravenshead famous for being the first stockist of my images it also has the distinction of containing the residence of Lord Byron, Newstead Abbey. As always you can also purchase any of the images on the site via the website, and if you don't see the size you want, drop me a line and your requirements can be catered for.

Another new edition to the site is the one to one workshops I am offering. This is something I've been thinking of doing for some time. I am often asked the techniques used to create my images and there seem to be a large number of people out there who have taken the plunge into the dark world of digital SLR's, but are struggling to use the camera to reach their full potential. I will try to make these days highly personal so that you actually get instruction on your areas of interest, and not just a scripted day where you are instructed on the photograpers areas of interest!

I have also volunteered myself to write some articles for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust on Wildlife Photography. The first is hopefully going to prove that you can get good wildlife images with a compact digital camera. At present I am trying to lure a frog, long tailed field mouse and bank vole into the range of my daughters compact, all on the back garden!

Anyway, more news later, and remember keep up to date on twitter!
