Great Tit (Parus major)

Great Tit (Parus major) - Birds

As with most of the country winter has arrived early here in Nottinghamshire. Only a light dusting of snow but sitting in a hide for three hours at -3 degrees does give you some idea of the struggle these little birds have to survive the winter. I would advise everyone to put up a feeder in their garden, the birds will really appreciate it.
