This remains one of my favorite images of the Brown Hare over the many years I have been taking pictures of them. And as with most photography it’s all about the quality of the the light. On this occasion the sun had just come up behind me at the precise moment the hare noticed something strange (me) lying in the field, giving me this wonderful pose in golden light.
