I bought the Sony A7r3 for wildlife photography in 2022. Is it worth it?

A couple of months ago I made the decision to exchange one of my Sony A6400's for a Sony A7r3 . In this video I explain my reason for that decision, after all I have been a great fan of the Sony A6400. How does the Sony A7r3 compare to higher and newer models and is it more versatile for other forms of photography? I also give my thoughts on this new/old camera (it came out in 2017) and decide if I made the right decision and why!

Vanguard Endeavor ED 10x42 Binoculars A great choice for Wildlife Watching

After my stalking video last week and having ditched my old massive binoculars a while ago due to carrying cameras, lenses and tripods I decided that it was time to go back to carrying binoculars as I was sure I was missing opportunities by using the camera lens to scan ahead. In this video I give my real world review of these vanguard binoculars. If you are in the market for some high quality binoculars at a reasonable price point these could be right for you.

How to choose your first Wildlife Photography Camera

After releasing my series on how to make a start as a wildlife photographer earlier this year I have had many people asking me for recommendations for cameras to start out in wildlife photography. While I can't tell you which camera will be best for you, hopefully this video will enable you to make an informed decision on the camera that best suits your needs. This is the method I use every time I make a change to my camera setup and it always provides me with the camera that allows me to achieve the results I want. Hopefully it will help you do the same.
